Save Low Fares Campaign Branding



Richmond International Airport was one of three mid-range airports within close proximity to have Southwest Airlines flying into it. When Southwest purchased Airtran they decided to reduce the Southwest footprint in Virginia thus threatening to dramatically raise airfare throughout the region due to a lack of competition. Because we couldn’t specifically say “Fly Southwest” at risk of angering the larger player, Delta Airlines, we came up with the Save Low Fares campaign to encourage flyer participation and build risk awareness to the departure of Southwest Airlines.
